Hello!

My name is Megan, and I've been attending Barakel since I was 7 years old. I'm now 17. The memories I've received at Barakel will seriously be everlasting. It is, and always has been, my most favorite part about summer. I remember one summer, the summer I turned 12, I accepted Jesus into my life. I remember telling my counselor that I didn't want to go to hell, and her and I talked about it. It was very interesting. I also remember all of the tribes I've been in, and many of the people I was in a tribe with. The last time I went to Barakel was in 2005, and I was in Poplar. My counselor was Katie Collins. I was in the "Sawbadust" team. Haha, those were the days! I'm going to Barakel this year in August and it should be a blast! If any of you are out there reading this, maybe considering sending your children to Barakel, DO IT. It is the single most refreshing and wonderful memory I have from my childhood, and I've been so blessed to go there every year! Now that it's going to be my last year I hope that I may be able to be a counselor there or something. I love Barakel with everything I have!
