I attended camp Barakel as a camper for several years back in the 1960's!
At that time we had to be careful of walking alone due to bears in the area!
God blessed me so much and I dedicated my life to Him at camp.

A wonderful song I learned that still stays with me is:

A lot of today's praise songs are about what we are going to do for God, how we are going to worship Him, and praise Him, serve Him, which is wonderful.....

But the older songs and especially the hymns are about what God has done for us!

Praise HIM for what He has done for us! (Thank you Lord for saving my soul...)
