East Side Chapel

In the mid-1960s, Barakel started to build a second camp on the East Side of Shear Lake. This Chapel was dedicated in 1975. As visitors enter the building, they are greeted by our full-mount Elk. The East Side Chapel is large enough to hold more than 300 worshiping adults and every Sunday in the summer hosts our combined (East & West) morning chapel time.
