Dads bring your daughter(s) or daughters bring your dad to this February winter weekend.

We are excited to host this new winter weekend for dads and daughters. Come spend time together playing, talking and hearing from God's Word.

Enjoy tubing, cross-country skiing, ice-skating, ice-fishing, broomball, hot chocolate by the fire and lots of other great activities.

Our speaker for 2012 is David Rudd, Pastor at Calvary church near Muskegon, MI. David grew up coming to Barakel as a “speaker’s kid,” so he is not new to us. He is a graduate of Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and has served at Calvary since 1997. He and Marianne have two children, a daughter Emma, and son Liam. Learn more about David here.

Four chapel sessions are planned with the purpose of presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ and its basis for fathers and daughters to love sound doctrine and live self-controlled, hope-filled lives. We'll start each chapel all together and then the younger daughters will be given the opportunity to go to a class designed just for them.

We ask that daughters be at least in the third grade.
