Grandmothers, Moms & Daughters - this is just for you! Come enjoy some time together at Camp Barakel. Bring as many daughters (or granddaughters) as you like — as long as they are at least six years old.

     

The weekend is planned so that you can choose activities that interest you... or choose to relax by one of our fireplaces.

Tubing (with a tow rope for pulling you back up)

Our speaker for 2010 is Melanie DeKruyter. As a mom she has learned much about life’s sacred rhythms, and being a family set apart. During a recent study tour of Israel her resolve to be obedient to the Lord’s will was tested. Life forced her to stand at the crossroads and ask, “Do I believe God is who He says He is?” Come walk the road beside Melanie and hear for yourself God’s invitation for rest.

The youngest daughters will have the option to attend a class designed just for them, led by our own staff.

Housing will be in our East Side Camp cabins — with indoor baths. All of the rooms have our recently-built bunkbeds with inner spring mattresses. East Side Camp is a short walk from Snow Valley, the center of our outdoor activities.

The fee this year is $175 for mother and daughter, $75 for each additional daughter. A registration fee of $50 per person should be included with the registration form (with the balance due on arrival). If the need arises to cancel, the registration fee will be refunded if requested by January 22.

The weekend begins Friday evening with Snow Valley open, and a buffet-style snack in the Dining Hall. Our time together will conclude with an early lunch on Sunday.
